Root Ranch 2022: This year’s Fly-In was shortened due to the upcoming weather, but as usual, Husky pilots had a good time. Above you will find a picture of the planes that showed up – at one point 15!

Let’s hope for a different weather pattern in 2023. This year has been one or two nice days with three to four rainy/snowy days. Interesting. We are seeing some pretty high stream flows – i.e. Middle Fork of the Salmon at 8,000 cfs. Cranking.

Thanks to all that showed up – it was good to see/meet you. Thank you Paul for coordinating and speaking.

For all that are interested Root Ranch 2023 will be June 22, 23 and 24 (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).

We are going to have the usual flying and fun! On Saturday, June 24th in the morning, we will have the WHOA interview/video created by Billy Winburn of communityaviation.com. This year we will be interviewing Amy Hoover and Dick Williams – the authors of Mountain, Canyon, and BAckcountry Flying.
So, put this on your calendar! Fly-in and join us!
